The Convener and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tinubu Again Movement (TAM), Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, MON, has arrived in Abuja ahead of the flag-off of a nationwide campaign to mobilise 20 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Matawalle, who is also the Minister of State for Defence and former Governor of Zamfara State, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday evening, where he was received by members of the national leadership of the movement.
His arrival signals the formal commencement of the Tinubu Again Movement’s 20 Million Votes (20MVT) Mobilisation, a nationwide grassroots campaign aimed at building and consolidating support for President Tinubu across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The initiative is expected to draw on TAM’s structures across the country to mobilise supporters at the grassroots and broaden political support for the President ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking shortly after his arrival, Matawalle said the movement was prepared to take its campaign to communities across the country, expressing confidence in the readiness of its state and grassroots structures.
He said members and supporters across the 36 states and the FCT were “fully committed, energised and ready” for the mobilisation drive.
According to Matawalle, activities under the 20MVT campaign will commence immediately, marking the beginning of what the movement describes as an extensive grassroots effort to build support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid and the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
