The Honourable Minister of State for Defence and former Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, MON, has received a delegation of elders from Kasuwar Daji on a courtesy visit to his office at the Ministry of Defence, Ship House, Abuja.
The delegation was led by the Senator representing Zamfara North Senatorial District, Senator Sahabi Alhaji Yau.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Minister and the elders to discuss security concerns affecting Kasuwar Daji and surrounding communities, as well as ongoing efforts to restore peace and strengthen security in the area.
Matawalle thanked the delegation for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting sustained security efforts aimed at protecting lives and property and restoring lasting peace to Kasuwar Daji and its environs.
He assured the elders that the security and well-being of communities remained a priority, stressing the importance of continued engagement and cooperation between local communities and relevant security authorities in addressing prevailing security challenges.
