Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, under the Anambra State Police Command, have arrested a suspected armed robber who had long been on the command’s wanted list.
The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Kingsley Eze, was apprehended in Abagana on September 20, 2025, following credible intelligence.
According to police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, officers recovered a Magnum Pump Action gun and 12 live cartridges during the operation.
Eze is currently in custody undergoing interrogation and, upon completion of investigations, will be charged to court.
The Anambra Police Command reaffirmed its commitment to tackling crime and ensuring public safety across the state.
