Frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the APC in Niger State, Honorable Mohammed Umaru Bago paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Borgu yesterday where he sought the blessings of the Emir towards his gubernatorial ambition.
His courtesy visit was met with wild celebrations and jubilation as the people of Borgu trooped to the Emir’s palace to receive Honorable Bago.
The Emir of Borgu, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammad Haliru Dantoro welcomed Honorable Bago to his emirate and prayed for his ambition.
After the courtesy visit to the Emir, Honorable Bago met with executives and delegates from Borgu and Agwara Local Government Areas who unanimously endorsed his candidature for the APC Gubernatorial primaries scheduled for the 20th May 2022.
In attendance at the meeting were Alh. Ahmed Suleiman Yumu, Council Chairman Borgu Local Government; Alh. Yahya Mohammed Borgu, APC Chairman, Borgu Local Government, Engr. Isa Dauda, the Ajiyan Borgu; Barr. A. B. Haruna; Alh Dauda Isa, APC Zone C Secretary and all Council and Local Government Party executives, and their delegates from Agwara Local Government Area.
